the sponge I call body is at breaking point... had too much sushi last night - its shows- eyes look like wee holes in the snow... oops

now all I want- in this world.... is pizza.... and there is some in this office - but its being carefully body guarded by people who think they are doing me a favour??

I have been neglecting my lil bloggy ! but it hasn't been my fault! Its all my lungs fault- They've been on strike, no exercise, no work therefore no tv, no internet and mostly no precious puppy! :( blegh to you lungs ! just cos we in RSA doesnt mean you can strike ?? its just not right!

so in this bed ridden time I have been thinking about the things people say...

why is it that at the age of twenty...... (something...) ;) i cannot have a conversation with ANYONE with out the fact that I am still single coming up? then the look of pity in their eyes when i say " no there is no one in the "picture" (what ever that means) ...

and then they say.......

"oh it will come when you least expect it" or "it will come when you not looking"

seriously... REALLY .... I dont know how much MORE I can "least expect it" or "not look" ..


so here's to y'all ;)...




I know you mean well peeps and I love you for your words of encouragement!

anyway got a mountain of work to get through - catch up from last week etc....

and not to mention, keeping busy "not expecting it" :)

Dear Blog,

oh wait that not how we start...

It was a lonngg weekend! yay for some R & R. We started with Robyn's birthday- fab time with freinds- (not to mention amazing lil finger foods-not for food diary entry)

Then went to a GREAT confrence at Urban Edge Church where my friend Linda reminded me what is what :) and Bev reminded me who is who :) it was a real wake up and AWESOME!!

then we were off to Patenoster (Rob's and I) to go catch some rain, read my book and watch some TV. (ah hem thank you Jo and Galloways for sharing your amazing house!)

Anyhoo we went for dinner - who the heck knew that all 3 "real" restuarants in Patenoster would be FULLY booked?? ummm is this not some random little town on the west coast?? hehehe so we ended up eating at the "sorry we forgot to book hotel" -

yummy garlic (with a mussle in it) then to the bar at the hotel - the bar is called the panty bar... I know why you're all dying to know why its called panty bar so i will tell you - there are millions of panties hanging from the walls and the roof...MILLIONS ! *sies*

so we noticed that the "broeks" hanging next to us had "Jo-Anne" written on them...

they had to be stolen ! HAD TO be stolen for Jo! (last time she was there she thought the fire was talking to her...so she threw her socks into the fire to "talk" back...) so we stole them for Jo's burning pleasure .... we've hung them on the fire place...

also being in the PANTY BAR reminded me of why I am still single!

So we went home and STAYED there ... and when I say stay there - I mean STAYED THERE - till like 8 on sunday eve - we then ventured out to hunter gather...

had a major "chillax" much needed peace and quiet next to a warm fire with a few giggles ... AAAAHHHHSEM

its official, I have lost all will-power! I am not sure where I lost it.. perhaps some where between Mc Donalds and FAT CACTUS?? agggg who knows... but I got to find it again -
trainer's mean arse scale says I am up one 1kg ? bliksem! think i will smash it til it tells me i am lighter! *SMASH*
see its the carbs- they make me aggressive!

Anyhoo, looking forward to a long weekend in Paternoster... just unwinding and contemplating eating healthy foods and giving the food diary another go? hmmmmmm no - I think it was the pressure of the food diary that made me start this lil binge ... I must blame some one or something .... it surely CANNOT be my fault!

and now my dad has left fish and chips in my office ...the smell is singing a luring song at me ! but i SHALL RESIST ... i will not eat you best fish and chips in south africa! just cos your from Fish on the Rocks doesnt make you healthy or good for me!
