I am willing to make the mistakes if someone else is willing to learn from them

As I have blogged before I get looked at like I am missing something ? like what has happened to me? why am I still oh-so-not attached?
I am not sure whats happened to me.. if I have lost my game.. but I am starting to think maybe I never had game and just thought I did (could be possible)
So in the PF days - (Pre Facebook) you'd meet some one if the liked you they'd take your number- now you meet some one, if they like you they say nothing you say nothing then quietly stalk eachother on facebook (whom i kidding I stalk you) and devise ways to make you add me... I am a champion stalker.. (I wont add you though thats your job) I just like to see whats crack-a-lacking in your life.. relationship status etc ... you know you gotto check a brother out.
So this is my story from the other night. I go to a braai we all chilling having a little chop or two and chatting and a nice sorta guy kinda says hi while we dishing food, then end of the night comes I put my bag on to leave and he comes over to chat... SUCH a flipping nice guy - like such a chilled conversation, laughed alot etc. Then I leave. ..

....Now what? and thats the end.. thats how the story ends... dissapointed? me too...

So some people give advise like... "join an online dating service"- my view is:  computer dating is fine, if you're a computer.

What kids say:

On Whether To Stay Single or Get Married
"It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them." (Anita, age 9)

On Deciding Whom To Marry:
"No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with." (Kirsten, age 10)

On What Falling In Love Is Like
"Like an avalanche where you have to run for your life." (John, age 9)
"If falling in love is anything like learning how to spell, I don't want to do it. It takes too long." (Glenn, age 7)

What I say:

1.They say all the 'good ones' are taken... Uhmmmm, Hello?? I'm SINGLE!
2.Reason why I'm single 1) I can't date myself 2) I can't date my celebrity crush 3) I can't date food 4) I can't date the internet.
3.Single" doesn't always mean LONELY..The same way that "Relationship" doesn't always mean HAPPY!
4.When someone asks:”Why are you single?” just say, I’m in a long distance relationship. My boyfriend lives in the Future.

and one for the road:

For all the single ladies.... A quick piece of Biblical advice: Ruth patiently waited for her mate Boaz. While waiting on YOUR Boaz, don't settle for ANY of his relatives: Brokeaz, Poaz, Lyinaz, Cheapaz, Lockedupaz Goodfornothinaz, Lazyaz and especially his third cousin Beatinyoaz. Please, wait on your Boaz & make sure he respects Yoaz

Party Rocker (ish)

So are the days of our lives...
I have bought a new car (well, the bank has bought a new car) but I am driving a new car :) new for me ...not new new-  thinking her name will be Bella cos she is beautiful and black - I was thinking of giving her an african princess name... But stuggled with pronunciation

Celebrated my 21 plus 10th birthday a week or so ago... Went out partying til 5am to prove I am still 21 (plus 10) not a good idea let me tell you... Man I am still recovering. Why were late nights not such a train smash when I was a few years younger **yikes... I know I'm not old, being 21 and all, but seriously, gone are the days of out every night and get up for work or to do stuff ... I pretty much spent the rest of the weekend catching up on sleep.

It was quite an entertaining kinda night so here are some snippets-we started out at a little spot called Spiros in Hout bay.. Little Greek restaurant, chilled vibes with family and friends.. at about 10 the DJ started playing and the old folks (older then plus 10) all scattered like flies- #tooloud... Us young folk (yes YOUNG) stayed...
Chatted a bit and then decided to walk to next destination ...which was closed? Fail.
by this stage my feet are already screaming "why do you hate me?? Please let me out of here"

so we start the next part of our walk towards Pakalolo- a car that looks suspiciously like Rene's car pulls up next to us - so I shout:
"Rene, its your car"
she shouts back:
"no you idiot, that's your boss"

Not embarrassing and definitely proof that whilst walking on the roads of Hout bay at night a 21 plus 10 year old should remember to keep their glasses on and mouths shut at all times..
So we arrive at Paki's in good order and guy walks up to me and says "hi! Do you remember me?"
*smack palm on face* ummmm **PaNiC**, search brain ! YES !!!
Apparently when referring to some ones younger brother it's not appropriate to say:
"oh ya I remember you, you're little *so and so..."
I have found that you shouldn't call boys "little" ever! - #youliveyoulearn
Then moved with the "little" brother to workshop then pirates... When we should at that point have called it quits - for you young peeps out there a word of advise - nothing good ever happens after 2am...go home! my feet were trying to tell me this ... But my pride was saying stay like a young peep ... Stoopid pride...
By this stage I had a guy confessing his undying love to me... That he'd loved me from the beginning of time mmm this should have been the final clue that it was home time but noooo... We stayed and all chatted while I dodged all sorts of situations... Must say my defense is on par with the stormers ! Very proud ! *chick of the match*

Feet now fully falling off we get a pie and go home... If I had assurance that I wouldn't be reprimanded I would tell u the adventure of the pepper steak pie on it's way home with my boots in my hand... What I will tell you tho... Is that we had a cheerleader, a wanna be knight in shining armour, pie face photo's *never to be seen* and barefeet.

All in all an eventful night ... Rest of the week - write off

Helgar's new home

Very sad thing occurred not so long ago now .... Helgar has been kidnapped and not returned ... I fear she may have escaped for a border somewhere carrying undesirables ... My poor baby she really was a good car... On her last leggys but a good good car... You know it's started getting bad when the auto electrician says "no we don't know what it is but it's gonna be a big job" as well as every time you stop at a garage she needs a few pints of oil. Agg vooi tog my poor baby.

anyway, because of this sad event I am getting new car.. She is black and beautiful and on way fresher legs then my poor baby was on... Rip

snot you... its me

Thought I'd share this because I am sure its happened  to the best of us ...

So yesterday I find myself standing talking to an attractive guy ... wonder back to my car ... get in - and for what ever reason decide to look in the review mirror at my face... and there staring back at me are some intruders of the nasal variety just chilling there in my nose ... just like hanging out there almost as if to say "we will make sure you stay single for ever!!"

nosey little buggers
